The Mesta River (Bulgarian: река Места, reka Mesta, “Reka Mesta”) is a river in Bulgaria and Greece. It rises in the Rila Mountains and flows into the Aegean Sea near the island of Thasos. The length of the river is 230 km.
The section is calm with rapids in different places. The section is around 5-10 km long.
Difficulty: class III
Usually in April to June there is enough water.
